"Khushir Jhuli"   

- Is there only an NGO? Why would you stay with Khushir Jhuli? Please know our thoughts, actions and future plans. 

1 - It started at Budge Budge station just before Pujo of 2019. Collecting and distributing old and new clothes for the poor - that was our first job. Which is still going on today.

2 - During the entire lockdown in 2020, about 5,000 people in and around Budge Budge have been helped with rations.

3 - Bulbul of 2019, Amphan of 2020, then again in the storm of 2021 to send relief to the Sundarbans.

4 - "Khushir Bhandar" has been selling vegetables at low prices for a long time in front of Budge Budge College. Members of Khushi Jhuli have arranged free home delivery for those who have children outside or single adults.

5 - Blood donation camp has been organized in 5 - 2020 during the Kovid epidemic.

6 - 2020 15th August 15 destitute students were given scholarships in the field of education for 1000 rupees, some students were admitted in the school and even then throughout the year whenever any student told us that his studies would be stopped due to lack of money, we tried our best to stand by them.

7 - After a long lockdown, Khushir Jhuli took the responsibility of educating the slum street children adjacent to Budge Budge station. From giving them nutritious tiffins three days a week to providing books. Now the number of those students is about 75. Recently, we were forced to close the school again due to the deteriorating situation in Kovid. But going with their weekly nutritious rations.

8 - As soon as the sick man's phone rang in the second storm of Covid, the members of Khushi Jhuli rushed to carry Oxygen on their shoulders.

9 - Khushi Jhuli's kitchen has started. Every day about 75 to 80 beggars, vagrants, mentally unbalanced, street people, unemployed in lockdown, financially deprived people are being given free cooked food.

10 - Fancy "Drawing Competition" was organized on 10th - 1st January, 2020, in the field adjacent to Budge Budge Station. The boys and girls of the aristocratic house of Budge Budge were sitting next to the slum street children. The following year, we competed online for the 2021 epidemic.

11 - "Rabindra Shraddhanjali" has been organized online for two consecutive years on 11th - 25th Baishakh.

12 - Khushir Jhuli has created a new literary magazine for children in Bengali called "Khushir Hawa" in the New Year. There are children's stories and poems written by famous writers. There were beautiful pictures drawn by Khudis of Khushi Jhuli.

13 - Worship year 2021 of "Khushir Hawa" will be published. Khushi Jhuli has planned an online workshop for children to love Bangla language and literature. Any child can participate in it. Famous writers will teach children how to write good story rhymes. The next pujo issue will be published with the writings of those children.

14 - Covid Awareness - Corona Awareness has been promoted and free masks have been distributed at Bajwaj Station, Chariyal Mor, Bajwaj Payster Mor and many more places.

15 - Khushir Jhuli has arranged free online spoken English classes for upper class students from poor families. Anuradha Madam is taking classes every Sunday at 6 pm.

16 - Plans have been made to provide free job test preparation for children from poor families. But the coveted situation could not be started yet. We will start coaching as soon as the situation is favorable.

17 - Khushi Jhuli will teach free mobile, computer, laptop repairing and hardware work for educated unemployed youth. So that they can stand on their own two feet in the future.

18 - There are many people in the cultural world by our side. Khushi Jhuli has plans to hold a high quality cultural program with them once the epidemic is over.

19 - Khushir Jhuli is giving the college fees, books to the needy students.

"Khushi Jhuli" is not just a voluntary organization, it is a socialist, culturally minded, apolitical, secular, social organization that is moving forward with the blessings of the people.
